Brian Tracy applies the Law of Attraction in sales

Law of Attraction works in almost every expect of our life including in the sales process.

Brian Tracy, in one of his book “The Psychology of Selling” stated that he started out just like everybody else. His sales was on an average and he’s trying to be the best sales person in his company but he’s heading nowhere.

He notice that great sales people will often group together for lunch, coffee break, chat .. etc. while those who are not doing very well will flock together in a different group. This is exactly what is stated in the Law of Attraction. Like attracts like.

Then he started to do it in the ‘right way’. One day he decided to join the high performing group. He began to ask around what is “the secret” to their success. Not all of them are willing to share the secret of their success, but if you never ask, you’ll never get.

One of them give Brian Tracy a “Think and Grow Rich” book and ask him to read and understand it. Brian was literally blown away upon reading the book. He began to apply the formula to success or The Secret, whatever you want to call it.

He began to apply the Law of Attraction. He started to visualize successful sales process, the sequence, the words he’s going to say, the intonation, client’s feedback (smiles and say YES, I want to buy). Each time, before he meet his clients, before he get down from his car, he would visualize how he will close the deal.

Since then, the magic begins to happen, in less than a year, he became the top salesman in his company. All these happen and continue to happen because he knows how to apply the secret which is the Law of Attraction.

      Hye there,

      Well, I already read that book – The Phsycology of Selling’ . And Brian did really apply LOA. Even in early chapters we can see, that he suggest us to tell our own-self, every morning : I am the best, I am the best in this industry, and so on.

      After read his book also , it was last year, I have already draw, a picture of mine as a best person in my industry. And now, this year, I could feel that I am moving that way.

      Yes, most part of his book is focusing on the Law of Attraction. It’s just that he didn’t use that term.

      i’ve read both books, Brian Tracy’s and Think And Grow Rich.. Brian is the answer to fierce problems sales people faced every day, include me in the previous years as a sales person.. i’ve just found that book this year, before this i’ve read Ultimate Sales Power written by Moine & Lloyd.

      but, i’ve changed his approach and i apply it online.. it requires some deep understanding to his teachings.. but, the good news, it works..

      I do agree that most of the books need some deep understanding. Without deeper understanding, we’ll end up reading a novel.

      Law of attraction as I understand works best only when one is feeling the feelings of acquiring what one wants. Only when one is feeling, that is the time the necessary power is released to attract the things of desire..

      I have a question for which I have never gotten an answer. Since feeling attracts, for creating good feelings we visualise. for e.g. i will visualise the car that I want, ofcourse will test drive it to make the feelings stronger and intense and will then keep on visualising. After visualising the car for a week or so, the Feelings become extremely diluted compared to when I started visualising in the first place. These Weak feelings don’t even make me feel good. It starts feeling mundane, exactly like a chewing gum which is sweet initially but after a short while it becomes like rubber..

      Tell me something that can help me keep my feelings intense. if your answer is to keep changing what i imagine about the car, i would say there is not much really to change everyday while imaging the car.. please suggest what is to be done.. is this faced by everybody(i think so) and how to overcome it. Thanks!

        Hi Bob,

        What a great question. What I do is, if I want a car, I’ll visualize what I want to do with my brand new car TODAY!

        Maybe today I’ll visualize driving it to work, tomorrow drive it to the beach, then the next day, drive it to impress my friends and so on. That way you’ll have different stories of the same thing.

        If you really desire something, you’ll never get bored thinking of it. Think of the first time you fall in love with someone. You’ll think of that person almost every moment intensely for quite a long time.

      Surely this helps!! What you have said is really true about when you fall in love with someone. I want to have more stimulating time while imagining other things…which as much as i want it to be but is not the case.

      I think I need to mix emotions in my visualisation, like showing off that is good one, not easy to get bored with it :-)
