Counter Intention

Today, as promised in the previous post

, I’ll share a missing piece of the movie, The Secret, which I learned from Dr. Joe Vitale.

It’s called Counter Intention. This is one of the factors or reasons why so many people fail to use or manipulate the Law of Attraction to their benefit. (Don’t worry; manipulating the Law of Attraction isn’t a sinful act.)

Counter intention means you have at least 2 intentions that conflict with each other or you have at least 2 intentions leading different directions.

Still don’t get it? Let me give you a couple of examples.

There are people who want to have a lot of money and at the same time, believe that money is the root of evil. Perhaps you are one of them.

As T Harv Eker said in one of his Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar

, “Those who think money is the root of evils hardly have any.”

It makes perfect sense. Why?

People usually don’t want to be perceived as an evil person. And, if he thinks that money is the root of all evils, what do you think he’ll do when he has a lot of money?

Right. He’ll get rid of the money unconsciously in order to validate his personality as a good guy.

It could be divorce, a road accident, get fired, purchasing wrong investments and so on. It usually happens in the ways you’d never thought of.

This is what I mean by counter intention. One part of your mind wants to be rich while the other part sabotages the intention by thinking that money is the root of all evils.

So make sure you eliminate this counter intention in you before you attract anything with the Law of Attraction. Trust me. It really helps. And don’t forget to share your thought and comment to this post.

      That makes alot of sense, I am sure I can think of many other examples of this happening, besides with money. If we just re-evaluate out selves in an open and honest way, we can see the “root” of the problem, hehe.

      I guess you need to know exactly what you want and what you hate. Otherwise you’ll be sabotaging yourself without realising.

      This is very perfect advice, but unfortunately very difficult. How to have a millionare mind? If you have it – yes! – you a lucky one. If not, then you probably will only do an imitation.
