Discover The Hidden Happiness
February 5, 2008 |

Can you remember when the last time you feel happy was? If you still can remember, GREAT! Otherwise, too bad.
No matter what your answer is, you’ll still benefit from today’s article.
Our lives are so busy that sometimes we oversee the happiness that appears around us. Actually, it’s not hard to be happy but most people try to make it complicated. They tend to associate money with happiness.
That means, the more money they earn, the happier they are. Some even think that the more money they spend, the happier they will be (which is not the case, most of the time). All these are misconception because happiness is not related at all with money.
Do you think that a person who has $10M is happier than a person who has $9M? It’s a big fat NO!
To be happy, we just need to aware of our surrounding and find those hidden happiness. It could be a baby or a kid makes a funny face or smiles at you.
It could be you receiving a greeting card from a long lost friend or from your love ones. Another example may be receiving some compliments from your friends or superior.
There are many more examples but I you get my point, right?
So, the action plan for today, find your hidden happiness and share your magical result with us.
I would like to end today’s post with this video
Don’t forget to share your happiness here. Let the positive energy flows.

“Fake it, fake it, untill you make it”.
I love that video
Nice post!
My positive tip for today: Just laugh.
I am one of those blessed people who are by nature cheerful and happy. I find joy in just about everything. I am unable to be unhappy for very long.
I suppose that it has got something to do with my attitude towards life in general. In four words, “This too shall pass”. I reiterate that I believe that I am blessed. I have not really had to do anything about it. It has just happened.
I however endorse your views on what constitutes happiness. I hope that you will be happy always.
Hi Alex,
I fake a lot.
And I achieve a lot too.
Thanks for your tips.
Hi Dining Room Tables,
Maintain my happiness is one of my “hobbies” too.
It’s very nice to hear that you are a happy person by nature.
What a wonderful life.
Yeah, you’re right! Real happiness can be achieved if you know how to appreciate even little things around you. If you are contented with your life, I guess that’s enough reason for you to find true happiness in life.
Hi Martin,
Most people miss that.
Yep, I like all the above comments.
Happiness is an emotional state that comes from within.
We can be inspired by external states, that is all.
No one can MAKE us happy. We CHOSE our emotions, and happiness is one of them.
Equally, no one can make us unhappy, again it lies in the choice we make.
That is one of the most powerful attributes we human beings have over other living entities - we are the only ones with free will, the only ones with the ability to engage in making choices.
As usual, great material Raymond.
All the best,
Gloria
Hi Gloria,
I can’t agree more with you. That the power of choice.
We choose to be who we are and not otherwise.
Hi Raymond,
Watch any funny, silent comedy movies sure will make you laugh and happy. This good for internal jogging, recharging our battery. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Rose,
You’re welcome.
