Fork Out More Time For Yourself
April 29, 2008 | 10 Comments
I was a workaholic even though I am not into any form of employment. I have my own business and time was never enough for me.
I seemed to be busy for the whole day but the reality was, not much work really got done. That’s very frustrating, don’t you think?
However, I was grateful that I have my own business and do not have any problem financially but I rarely have the time to spend the money I earned and enjoy my life. That’s pathetic!
One of my favorite phrases was,
“I’m sorry. I can’t make it. I just don’t have the TIME!”
Frankly, I couldn’t figure out why I always don’t have the time I want while my friends have too much time that they did not know what to do with their time.
I wish and I want to search for the answer but again,
“I just don’t have the time!”
Time went by and I was still a busy man as usual until last year (I can’t remember exactly which month) that I attended a training course and Time Management was one of the topics in the course.
I am a skeptic when it comes to this “Time management” stuffs. In my mind, I have utilized all my time and there’s no time left for me to manage. So, how can the time management session help me? It gotta be useless and a total waste of my time.
In the training, on of my good friends quickly noticed how skeptical I was and tried to convince me that this stuff will work for me. He also told me that he has just compiled an ebook about time management and would like to send me a copy and hope that it’ll change my life.
To make the long story short, I received the book from him several days later. I left the ebook sitting in my hard drive and collect some dust.
Finally, I made a decision to give it a try. I read the ebook and practiced, not all, but some of the time management methods recommended in his book.
After a week …
I just couldn’t believe the result! It blew me away. The ‘secrets’ are amazing!
I have cut down 30% of my working time. (sometimes 50%) That means I only need 7 hours to complete tasks that I previously spent 10 hours.
Let’s do the math. If my time worth $50 per hour, I would save $150 per DAY and $4500 per MONTH!!! (Hmm … Now I love Math)
With the extra time I have “earned”, I can do my meditation, visualization, enjoy the money I have earned and do some exercises.
If you are the person who often busy with your work or routine and does not have enough time for yourself, then I would highly recommend you to check out this Time Management book HERE download ocean s thirteen dvd .
Today, I have even more time to watch movies, shopping and dine out peacefully (no rush).
With this peaceful and relaxing life, I am able to apply the Law of Attraction more effectively.
In the next post, I’ll be sharing about the Law of Attraction of the time management. Stay tune!
