      Hi Rose,

      Napping is good too to regain your energy and excitement of the day.

      A short nap of 15 minutes may put you into alpha state especially after a long hour of work. (although sometimes you may fall into delta and theta state too) :)

      Sometime I took a nap for 15 mins in the afternoon at office. I will feel fresh after that. Perhaps that is what we call in the alpha state of mind.

      But I can not do that for the proper night sleep. Our body is used to the number of hours we need to sleep at night. Anything more than that or less than the number of hours required will reduce our attention span in the day time. I only need 6 hours of good night sleep to last for the day.

      That explain why you only need 6 hours of good night sleep to stay energetic for whole day while others need more.

      Sleeping at night has been a routine for you. So, in order to change that routine, you need to reprogram yourself. :)

      I also am a true believer in the power nap. I need no more than 10 minutes, precisely, of shut eye in the afternoon to completely refresh and recharge myself!
