Thank you first of all, for all the gifts, it is amazing! Ok, my question is how can a person who has a mental problem, like a disorder one (anorexia), can use the law of attraction to overcome the problem? What kind of exercises?

Answer:

First of all, one should understand the concept of the Law of Attraction and how it works.

Our body and mind put out a certain vibration at every moment. Every single cell in our body is putting out a certain vibration and the wavelength of the vibration varies depends on the emotion we are feeling at the moment. It depends on our emotion.

And the vibration that we send out will attract the “things” with the same vibration back to us and that is what you and I know as the process of manifestation.

So, in order to leverage on the power of the Law of Attraction, one must be able to send out the correct vibration to the universe.

If that person (who is suffering from mental disorder) can not understand the Law of Attraction or can not put out the correct vibration, then that is the first area he/she should work on (to cure the brain so that he/she can understand and do the right thing)

If that person can understand the Law of Attraction and know or able to put out vibration, then the next question should be

What vibration he/she should put out?

Let me point out one of the common mistakes. When a person tries to cure a sickness or trying to solve a problem, he or she must focus on the end result.

Let’s say if I want to cure my mental disorder, I should not focus on the mental disorder. Not even the word or the phrase!

Instead, I should focus on the life I want to lead such as, I want to be able to speak, dance, sing, laugh, write, swim like everyone else (or maybe better than them).

I will visualize that I am a leader that lead others.

I can give you more example but I guess you have already got what I meant, right?

Always remember that the rule is always, “Focus on the desired end result”

Forget about the “mental disorder” stuffs. The more you think of it, the more you are going to get.

      Raymond you have done a great job in answering the question. I must however caution you and your reader that for any diseased person, the first and foremost requirement is to accept that he or she is diseased. If that acceptance is not there, neither medical care nor the laws of attraction be of any use, and may even cause harm. In this particular case of anorexia, very often, the patient refuses to accept that the presence of the disease. Proper professional psychiatric care is vital before anything else can be attempted.

      I am incapable of tuning in it seems, I can not block out my negative thoughts. I constantly focus on tasks I have not completed, loved ones that feel neglected by me, budgets not met, bills not paid, car repairs needed, my poor judgment..

      I find I can escape in music, books, tv, Internet, sleep.. and indulge in them.. over eating has also become a new habit of mine.

      As I, in the midst of my failures, am able to focus somewhat on books I try to block out my negative vibrations by filling my mind to the best of my ability with motivation books, listen to motivational tapes in my car.. read you blog Raymond, as it also helps me focus sometimes on better ideas, not ranting about my problems.

      By reading your post I feel the message is focus on the solution, not the problem.

      So if I just reverse my focus on the problems I just mentioned..

      ..focus on being able to tune in to a better vibration

      ..enjoy positive thoughts

      ..focus on and complement myself on tasks I have completed

      ..give my loved ones that extra bit of attention, the odd kiss on the forehead, the 5 minute play catch

      ..imagine how good it would feel to make my sales budget

      ..make a file and but the bills that are paid and enjoy the feeling of being able to file them as “paid”

      ..fix the damn car by making it a top priority

      ..strive to be a better person, and give more and show gratitude towards what I do have

      I then should be on the right way then shouldn’t I?

      Because, the more you focus on fixing your car, the more you invite the problem for you to fix.

      If we are to cure someone who have mental disorder, it is important for the person to not focus on ‘mental disorder’.

      You clearly show others how to separate ‘focus’ and ‘to do’. That’s something people hardly can differentiate.

      Diffrentiate “focus” and “to do” is very important.

      If you have any debt, make sure that you remember to pay it but DO NOT focus on the DEBT!

      I have been greatly inspired by your blog. I have tried to apply the Law by simply thinking of things that make me happy, dreaming of what I want to be, what I want to achieve, not looking at the negative side of bad situations even. I have noticed I have become a far more positive person. My husband too has noticed the difference and keeps saying he wants to be more like me – happy and content.
