Today, I’ll be answering one interesting question point out by one of our keen readers. It goes like this:

How about law of attraction and law of sowing and reaping?

The sowing and reaping law is saying “When you give it will be given back to you!”
How is it compared to the law of attraction???

I hope you’re not frustrated on my question again =)

Cheers,
Robert

Here’s my answer

First of all, I assume that the Law of sowing and reaping AND the Law of Cause and Effect are the same. So, I’ll be using the term “The Law of Cause and Effect” in my explanation here.

The Law of Cause and Effect is one of many laws of nature which keeps the universe in balance and harmony. It works together with many other laws such as the Law of Attraction, the Law of Love, the Law of Vibration and others.

Even though they are 2 different laws but they are related to each other, just like the Law of Electricity and the Law of Magnetism in Physics. They are related to each other to form the electromagnetic wave.

The relation of the 2 laws

Law of Attraction says that, we attract what we think, feel and believe. On the other hand, the Law of Cause and Effect says that there must be a cause behind every happening or effect.

Let’s put this together. We put out the vibration generated from our thoughts, feelings and beliefs, to the universe (cause) and we attract it back to us through the process of manifestation (effect)

Do you get my point here? They are different but related to each other.

Do you know that The Law of Cause and Effect is also known as Newtonian Third Law of Motion? They are the same thing with different names.

Here’s the resources to learn more about the other laws of nature which are closely related to the Law of Attraction.

I hope I have answered your question, Robert. Thanks for asking and if you guys and gals have any question regarding to the Law of Attraction, feel free to ask it here. I’m looking forward to read your comments. :)

      Hi Robert,

You’re very welcome. I hope the article is not so hard to understand. :)

      Both laws are good..
if the man think, things good, they’ll get good things.
the thought as the cause and the outcome as the result.. am i right?

      Hi Rezeki,

You’re right. Our thought is the seed of every outcome.

      Thanks for commenting.

Putting it another way, thinking is sowing and getting what you have attracted to yourself is reaping. QED!

      Hi Dining Room Tables,

Thanks for simplifying the equation. :)

Yup! Law of cause and effect work in many places which includes working with the law of attraction.

To continue getting what we want(effect), we got to send our thoughts and feelings(cause) continuously. I don’t believe that law of attraction will work when we set a goal and hide it in our drawer!

      Hi Attraction Guy,

That’s right. The Law of Attraction is NOT a standalone law.

Everything in this universe is connected. (Including the laws of nature)

Raymond, actually mmm, I have different perspective on this… it’s not only about cause and effect… but more of sowing and reaping.
Causing doesn’t always cost you anything… but sowing cost you something… your time, energy or even money.

My opinion on how it relates to the law of attraction is the belief behind the action of giving/sowing. When you’re giving out of the abundance attitude, the belief that your life is abundant. You will be given much more…

For detail, it’s my article The Secret of Giving

      Cheers,
      Robert

      Hi Robert,

Thanks for sharing your perspective. It really ticks my brain.

All this while I think that “cause and effect” and “sow and reap” are the same.

Can you give me some examples of causes that don’t cost anything?
