The Power of Habit

January 23, 2008 | 18 Comments

As I have shared last 2 days, there are 2 types of habits which are good habit and bad habit.

Good habit created good or great results while the bad habit creates bad result. So, make sure that your habits are in alignment with the result you desire. Otherwise, change it!

Let"s say one of the goals you have for the year 2008 is to lose weight

and you STILL have the habit

of overeating. Do you think that you can reach your goal with your current habit?

I really doubt that.

Today, I am going to show you the power of habit and what it has to do with the Law of Attraction.

As you know, in order to get or attract what you want into your lives with the power of the Law of Attraction, you must first be sure of what you want in your life. This is the first and the most crucial step. If you get this step wrong, you"ll attract the wrong thing.

After you have set what you really really want, the next thing you want to do is to believe that you already have it with the presence of the related emotions. Feel what you"ll feel once it arrives into your life. Visualize it with strong intention. See it as you"re already possess it.

Sounds easy?

NO! Not at all!

Not, IF you do not have the habit to do the visualization and have the belief consistently and persistently.

It"s easy to set your goal or determine what you want. It"s easy to do the visualization once BUT download sleuth free download heist it"s hard to do it again and again and again and again IF you do not have that habit.

How do you develop your habit? Do you have the success habit? Come on. Share it with me.

      Hi Raymond,
Wow! what a challenging post today. Okay, I share, in my understanding regard this power of habit. As it always stated that we are creature of habit. We tend to develop into habit only if we are excited about what we really want. Then the LOA will make it into reality by showing us the things we desire. Habit didn’t work coz there no momentum. Just like a student if they don’t do revision often getting back again gonna be hard. Hope what I say here is right just my opinion. It not please correct me. Thanks again.

      Great post Raymond,
I currently am working on developing some good habits as well as break some old ones.

I feel at times, even if the habits aren’t really holding me back, just the thought that maybe they do, is keeping me from successfully attracting the things I desire into my life.

      Hi Rose,

You’re right. We need the momentum to create a habit and in order to create the momentum, we must associate pleasure in whatever we want to achieve.

      Thank you for sharing.

      Hi Cary,

Do you mean the habit of reading a book every week?

I wish you all the best in forming your desired habit.

It’s always good to discover our negative habits and thoughts before it is too late. After that, of course, work on it! :)

Momentum is the key, quickly followed by focussed visualization. You’re completely right, and your style hits home the commitment required.

Usually habit formed unconsciously, but now I’m trying to develop new habit such as getting in alpha state (not using PLUS for sure), keep my blog updated everyday (thx, I learn from you this one) and feel grateful on whatever we have

    • raymond

      Hi Zaki,

Those are great habits. You have a nice blog. :)

The universe will reward you handsomely. ;)

      Hi Divinespiritlove,

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing the link.

      I appreciate that. :)

I agree with your point of view
Good habit created good or great results while the bad habit creates bad result.

    • raymond

Right. It has something to do with the Law of Cause and Effect. :)

    • warhammer

You make a good point but sometimes getting rid of those bad habits aren’t that easy, especially if you have something pulling you in. For me, it would be smoking and sleeping/waking up late. Can never seem to follow a set schedule to do daily activities.

    • raymond

      Hi Warhammer,

Get an accountability partner to keep you committed and find a community you want to model.

      That’ll help. :)

This is something I certainly need to work on, while I know it takes an average 2 weeks to make or break a habit, so if you can stick to it for at least two weeks, you can get the habit down
