The Story Behind The Big Creatures
Symbols are one of the elements that has compounded with the lives of Chinese and Feng Shui
.
For those who do not know what Feng Shui is, here is some explanation from me.
Feng Shui is a branch of metaphysics. It is an art of living where the Feng Shui believers will manipulate (I can"t think of the better word at the moment) the colors, space, elements, time direction … etc to create the most harmonious environment for their living.
It originated from the word wind and water where Feng is wind and Shui is water. In the ancient time, people use to find a place which has plenty of wind and near to the source of water.
Those two elements are the factors that determined the good place to live in and there"s where it develops until today, where the Feng Shui master can determine the luck for a person for a lifetime (based on calculation), the connection between ones house and the resident"s luck and so on.
Symbol is one of the most important elements in Feng Shui. Feng Shui believer place the symbols that they believe will bring them luck, health, wealth and prosperity.
Speaking from the angle of the Law of Attraction divx day the earth stood still the , it is much like a vision board where we stick on our goals and dreams on the board and visualize them.
Here are some of the Feng Shui symbols that I spotted at the temple:
Tortoise is believe to bring longevity as they have a very long life span. Pineapple is called “Ong Lai†in Hokkien (one of the Chinese dialects).
“Ong†means abundance if luck and “Lai†means come. So, placing pineapples in front of the temple or ones house if believed to invite abundance of luck from the universe.

This is an ancient coin in
There was no democracy in
Besides, the design of the coin has the balance of yin and yang. The circle perimeter of the coin represents yin (curve) while the square opening in the middle represents yang (straight lines)
They made the square of the coin look like a door to symbolize inviting more money coming in.
