The Second Sign of Victim – Complaining
February 24, 2008 | 17 Comments

Today, I’ll be touching on the second sign of victim. As usual, if you missed some of the previous important article, I suggest you to read them first. Here are the links to access to the articles.
Are Playing The Role of A Victim?
3 Deadly Signs That Shows You Are A Victim
The First Sign of Victim – Justifying
Complaining is one of the deadliest things you can so to your health, wealth and happiness.
Why?
If you understand the Law of Attraction, you will know that the more you complain, the more you are going to attract the things that you don’t want into your life.
If you are always complaining that you are in debt, guess what you’ll get. DEBT! Why? Because you attracting it. Not aware that the Law of Attraction is always working may put you into a very very very very hot water.
A friend of mine always complain, “my life sucks. That’s why I complain. If my life is like yours, Raymond, then I don’t have to complain”
My reply to him was:
“Excuse me. Your life sucks because you complain and not otherwise.”
Do you get what I mean here? It is the Law of Cause and Effect. Complaining is the cause, not the effect!
Again, when you keel on complaining, you will attract more of it into your life. Energy flows where attention goes. What you focus on, expands. It is infectious.
Next time, when you hear somebody starts to complain, take my advice. STAY AWAY!
Have you heard of birds of the same feathers flock together?
It applies to complainers too. They love to listen to other complainers because they are waiting for their turn to complain and “compete” to be the people in the worse situation.
Here’s the challenge that I want you to take. This simple command will change your life forever. How do I know? Because it changed mine.
Are you ready? Here it is:
“Do not complain AT ALL for the next 7 days”
If you find yourself complain within these 7 days, intentionally or unintentionally, you’ll have to start it all over again.
I can’t monitor you 24 hours a day for the next 7 days. That’s why people say only YOU can help YOURSELF!
Frankly, I didn’t made it in my first attempt. However, I keep on trying and the result is absolutely mind blowing. I can’t believe how this simple thing can completely change my life.
Why 7 days?
According to T. Harv Eker, the first few days are to clear your mind from all the residual crap that you used to perceive as gold.
“Unfortunately, crap doesn’t travel at the speed of light
, you know, it travels at the speed of crap, so it might take a while to clear out” – T. Harv Eker.
I love his funny way of delivering his message especially during his jovial, fantastic and unbelievable Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar.
(I am going to attend it again this year)

You are spot on in this post! Only you can make yourself a victim, if you refuse to believe that you are the victim, you will not be a victim. It is the ‘poor me’ and the self pitying people who become a victim of their own making.
Hi Living Rooms,
Absolutely. It’s also called the Law of Cause and Effect.
Nice Post Raymond
Thanks, Michelle.
I agree too. It really is helpful to surround yourself with positive people because they don’t complain. It’s so difficult to get out of the rut when self talk is so negative. We start convincing ourselves that we “deserve being miserable!” What?
Hi Cindy,
Surround ourselves with positive people is very important because from there, we will absorb a great amount of positive energy which will neutralize the negative energy within us and increase our energy level.
I love to be in a group of positive people. I feel so much better.
Thanks for commenting.
It’s taken me some time and effort to stop being negative, and it’s working! Good things seem to be happening more often than not, and I can’t help thinking it’s because I’ve started attracting my own good luck.
I agree Raymond. If you focus on the positives in your life they you’ll soon find there are more and more of them.
Hi Preschool Mama,
Yeah, we always have the power to create our luck and thus our destiny.
I love the magical moments where everything begins to be sooooo right!
Perfect!
Hello Karen,
Perhaps there’s where the phrase “success breeds success” came from.
Hi Raymond, thanks for the message.
I do agree on what is so negative about complaining, complain will not solve the problem, have an attitude to have responsibility over what has happened to you, not comparing yourself to another person. Each person has his own problem, it’s the attitude that matters.
Raymond, as I see, you’re a very strong believer in the law of attraction, i’d like to ask you a question…
What do you think about this quote from Robin Sharma, a leadership guru?
What you resist will persist, what you befriend, you will transcend…
Do you think it’s against the law of attraction? as it is said not to think about the bad things, but I felt that we have to acknowledge the fear, the sadness etc and only with that we can eventually transcend them.
Appreciate your opinion.
feel free to contact me through my email.
Thanks and cheers,
Robert
I’m a great believer in positive thinking and have observed (and tried to avoid) many people over the years who are quite poisonous with their moaning and complaining. I’ve been quite skeptical about the LoA until very recently, so I will start reading your posts with greater interest.
Hi Robert,
First of all, thank you for your sharing the quote and the questions.
As you can see and feel, I am indeed a strong believer of the Law of Attraction.
I would like to share my answer in my coming post within this week (hopefully) so that it can benefit more people.
I hope you don’t mind to wait for a little while because I have something else in queue for these few days.
Hi David,
Perhaps we are attracted to each other in the first place.
The Law of Attraction has been over simplified by The Secret movie, but from the bright side, it’s the simplicity that attracted me to dig more about it.
I hope what I have shared here benefits you.
Thank you for your interest.
Yes, absolutely! You should never ask what’s wrong with your life or what could be worse, you should always ask what’s good about my life and what could go right with it. Or ‘why not me; getting rich?’
Hi Brian,
That’s the right attitude.
If he can do it, why not me?
Cool!
