I actually agree with what Michael Beckwith is saying in that video. I read The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles, and thought it was a very valuable book-insightful as well as practical. The fact is we humans live in a material/physical world and in order to be of greater service to our fellow humans and creatures it certainly helps if we have the means and the time to put our efforts in this direction. We just need to make sure our intentions are pure and that we do not fall down the slippery slope of greed and forget about the others we initially wanted to help. I recently read a book called, "Wake Up! Your Life is Calling," by Andy Feld. The author's remedy for staying on course is a daily practice of meditation. I prefer contemplation, but the point is by going inward on a daily basis, we learn to focus on the intent of our higher selves, and can even tap into higher entities (ascended Masters), who are at our beck and call if we take the time to tune in. Sound a little far-fetched? Well, I've personally had success with this, like Andy Feld, AND I know a number of others who have had equally amazing experiences. thanks for listening, Kim Interesting take.
