      I was actually talking about this exact thing last week with a guy at work. Our biggest “problem” is affording a big enough house and figuring out how to buy a nicer car, meanwhile people all over the planet starve to death. It certainly puts things in perspective.

      It’s funny to see people chasing for something they don’t have and forget about what’s lying right in front of their eyes. (sometimes)

      I remember seeing this video a few years ago. It’s really hard for people to remember to keep things in this sort of perspective when the only troubles they really know are their own. All the time I try to remind myself that I’m perfectly healthy when I’m feeling down about something, and to think of the people out there that would love to just be able to walk. It is difficult to keep things like that at the forefront of my mind however. Day to day worries can cloud our vision.

      Developing a habit of gratitude may help.

      It works for me where I list out things to be grateful for everyday and within 30 days, I already have the “gratitude” habit. :)
