Your Problem Is Another Man’s Dream
March 22, 2008 | 6 Comments

We always have problems. We have problems with our kids, we have problem with our cars, we have problems with our friends and family and so on and so forth.
But …
Do you know that your problem is actually another man’s dream?
Now, what do I mean by that?
When you have problems with your kids, think of those who wish so hard for a child.
When you have problems with your job or work, think of those people who are unemployed and are looking for jobs everyday. They admire you so much for being able to have the job.
Whenever you complain to have the old pair of gloves, take a moment to think of those who don’t have hands.
If you have problems with your parents, think of the orphans. You have no idea how much they wish for loving parents.
I can go on and on but I guess you got my point here.
So, what really is the problem?
Actually, there is no problem at all. It is us who give the meaning to a situation and label it with the word “problem” whenever possible.
The problem will dissolve when we learn to be grateful of what we have in our life. Those who focus on what they have in their lives have no problem.
Those who don’t will always have problems. Don’t you agree with that? Feel free to voice out your opinion here.

I truly believe in what you’ve mentioned in this post. It’s inspiring.
I used to read a story about a person who always complain about his shoes, but he felt extraordinary lucky when he saw someone who don’t have legs.
If we study psychology or economy, we will realize that human beings have unlimited wants. When we get what we want, we want more, we want better and we want more unique and special. It come to an extent that we forgot what we have.
Thanks for the post. It’s really inspiring!
Hi Attraction Guy,
I heard that story too (about the shoes and legs), from emails.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge about the economics. I agree with that.
Love to see your comments.
Great sharing Raymond. Keep it up!

Thanks for that very inspiring thought! People have endless wants in their lives. The more things you desire to achieve, the more it create a “problem” for yourself. But if a person is contented with what he have, he has no worries and he has no pressures in his life. Man create his own problems.
Hi Kulwinder,
Thank you. How are you doing?
It’s nice to see you here.
Hi Guy Cohen,
You’re right.
Gratitude and be contented is the road to total happiness.
